Shocking Pink Zinnia Flower
$15.50 - $47.50
This zinnia is so powerfully pink that though it is part of a larger watercolor painting, I felt that it should stand on its own as well. There is something so beautiful about how free moving it is yet it appears strong and sharp as well. I suppose I kind of see some of myself in this one!
Sunrise over Old St. Mary's - St. Mary's College, MD
$15.50 - $46.50
This watercolor is one of my personal favorites. There really are not words for how much my spirit misses the tide water at times. I love this painting because it brought me closer to a place I used to call home, Jesus and my mother. I painted this painting thinking of her passing and her love for the arts and nature.
As I sat there at the kitchen table, many miles and a life time away I first was filled with sorrow that she and I never really were able to see the best in one another. I wished that she could not be here to see that I have held on to the legacy of art and creativity...that I finally got my life together and that I was happy. This sorrow was lost on me when I finally really looked at the painting I just made and I realized, Through God all things are possible....I knew she already knew.
Sunrise over Lake Michigan
$15.50 - $47.50
Lake Michigan has one of the most beautiful shorelines in all of the world. I have painted this view many times and I just can not get enough of it. There is truly something divine about this stretch of beach. It was peaceful to paint and each time I paint it, it is equally as peaceful. There is something about how restful the shoreline washes into the beach and how the sky spills upon the water and the reflections of the rocks....it gets me every time. Michigan is a beautiful state, that is for sure.

Joy Comes in the Morning
$15.50 - $550.00
This could be one of the years most stunning paintings. It is a watercolor and acrylic mix with touches of brilliant metallic gold. This boat reminds me that even the most unfortunate things (such as a lost and capsized boat) still has a purpose. For me, in this case it reminds me to not take things for granted and to look for lessons even when, and especially when things are still around me. The sun is coming up in this painting and it is illuminating the mast which appears to have an organic cross shape and the stern and the bow, along with the water and clouds in brilliant gold which brings me to thoughts of divinity. In my ear I hear the promise from psalms 30, Joy comes in the morning.
The original painting is for sale and is 18x24. If you have any purchase questions about this piece or any other work, please do not hesitate to contact us! Thank you.
Chippewa Trail - Midland Chippewa Nature Center - Midland, MI
$15.50 - $47.50
This small pathway is one of the most popular paths in our town. It is very popular and loved by so many in our region. Chippewa Nature Center offers many scenic trails and opportunities to immerse yourself in nature. This path is the main artery that takes visitors on a stroll along the river. I love the wild life that lives near the river banks whom make themselves visible to hikers rear round.
